Jeffrey Stoltzfus was born in Lancaster Pennsylvania .  He was raised on a dairy farm until the age of seven.  From an early age he developed his talent for drawing.  In school he would excel in other art forms including photography, graphic design, and video production.  For a time he worked toward becoming a professional comic book artist.  However praise from his teachers and classmates for his video productions pushed him toward another career.

In summer of 1997 Jeffrey attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia.  He wrote and directed several short films, live performance events, and music videos.  He would also go on to write his first feature length screenplay, The Bloodkin.  Before graduating Jeffrey won several awards, including best writing and directing, for his twenty minute short, A Prayer for the Guilty.

Jeffrey spent the next several years working in live television production.  It is also during this time he wrote his second feature, Misdirected.  He produced the low budget movie himself.  It would also mark his feature directorial debut.  He then created his own production company, Super-Nerve Entertainment, LLC.

Jeffrey returned for his sophomore directorial effort in 2005 with his gritty and suspenseful script Victim’s Song.  This would be the largest scale production to date.  It would also be the most demanding.  In addition to writing and directing he was also the co-producer, production designer, and editor.

In 2006 he moved to the Los Angeles .  He continues to write screenplays and direct.  He is also a storyboard artist for hire.  Jeffrey has worked with such companies as Comcast, Innoventive, NBC, and Storylink.  He also teaches classes on storyboarding and screenplay construction.
